||||The CT-499 RJ45 Patch cable tester can be used to verify pin sets on RJ45 patch cables, wall ports and patch panel wiring in structured buildings by using the included remote unit. It can also be used to test RJ11 and RJ12 fittings.
Please note that this tester only checks continuity and does not verify cable or installation speed, it is not recommend that either of the units are attached to a live network.
A speed control button alters the LED display cycle, which will cycle through 1-8 until the unit is switched off.
