The Mikrotik Wireless Wire Cube Pro kit is a powerful, point-to-point, 60 GHz 802.11ay, pre-configured link kit designed to bridge distances of up to 2.4 km. The kit consists of two preconfigured Cube 60PRO units and their associated accessories, for connectivity straight out of the box, and leverages the latest 802.11ay standard for even greater range, stability, speed, and convenience.
The Wireless Wire Cube Pro allows you to establish ultra-fast point-to-point connections over distances as far as 1 km. Using the newly added Channel 5* support it is possible to reach even greater distances; maintaining a reliable connection over 2.4 km based on in-house Mikrotik tests.
The 60 GHz spectrum offers low interference, high speeds and capacity but can be vulnerable to bad weather conditions; particularly on longer distance links. This is why Mikrotik have equipped the CubeG-5ac60aypair with backup 5GHz radios with automatic failover. The backup radio features a powerful directional antenna which allows it to match the range provided by the main 60GHz radio.
Mikrotik have upgraded the enclosure on the CubeG-5ac60aypair units to feature a strong metal base for improved cooling and mounting options. The design philosophy of the CubeG-5ac60aypair focuses on practicality; it is a durable, compact, and unobtrusive option for high-performance wireless needs.
