Our Internet connection was becoming unreliable. I had been using Technicolor combined modem/router supplied by our ISP for quite a while and while it started off being OK, it seemed to become more problematic over time. I have used Ubiquiti Edgerouters for clients and I was thinking of using one if these in our office but they don't seem to be available at the moment. I'd read good reviews of Mikrotik routers so thought this might be the time to try one. As many other have said, Mikrotik routers are not for casual users. There is a "quick" setup but anything more than basic configuration means command line access. Although the learning curve is quite steep, the information on the Wiki is excellent. Our Internet access is now reliable and the latency seems to be a lot better as well.

Very good service since the first time I contacted the company until the product arrived to me. The router is amazing!! it's a good value for my money. I'm thinking of buying a few more as they are useful too as network testers.
