The netPower Lite 7R from MikroTik is a reverse PoE switch with 8 x Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 x 10G SFP+ ports aimed at bringing the speed and versatility of fiber networking whilst still using the advantages of Ethernet in a low cost, easy to deploy way, with installation possible in a number of environments thanks to its outdoor enclosure.
The netPower Lite 7R also offers a variety of different power options, with 7 reverse PoE ports allowing it to draw all of the necessary power from a single client depending on setup, with Ether8 able to power other PoE capable devices with the same voltage applied to the unit. A DC jack and a 2-pin terminal are also available as an alternative power source.*
netPower Lite 7R has a non-blocking throughput of 28 Gbps, switching capacity of 56 Gbps and forwarding rate of 41.7 Mpps.
