The ES206GP is a 6-port Gigabit Easy Managed Switch with integrated PoE+ support, designed to deliver reliable wired connectivity and simplified network management for small businesses, retail environments, surveillance systems and growing office networks. Combining high-speed Gigabit performance with intelligent Layer 2 features and cloud-based management, it provides an affordable and scalable solution for powering and connecting essential network devices.
Equipped with six Gigabit RJ45 ports, including four IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant PoE+ ports, the ES206GP is capable of supplying both power and data over a single Ethernet cable to compatible devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones and access control systems. With a total PoE power budget of 65W and up to 30W available per PoE port, the switch offers the flexibility needed to support a wide range of powered devices while reducing installation costs and eliminating the need for separate power supplies.
Designed to provide dependable performance for everyday business networking, the ES206GP features a 12 Gbps switching capacity and an 8K MAC address table, ensuring efficient data forwarding and smooth communication between connected devices. Intelligent traffic management features including Quality of Service (QoS), VLAN support and IGMP Snooping help prioritise critical applications, improve network efficiency and optimise multicast traffic for services such as IP television and video surveillance.
The switch also includes practical features that simplify network administration and improve reliability. Automatic loop prevention helps protect against network disruptions, while port isolation enhances security by limiting unnecessary communication between connected devices. Cable diagnostics assist with fault detection, and PoE Auto Recovery can automatically restart unresponsive powered devices, making the ES206GP particularly well suited to surveillance deployments where continuous uptime is essential. The switch also supports extended PoE transmission distances of up to 250 metres at reduced speeds, providing additional flexibility when installing devices across larger sites.
Built with a durable metal enclosure and a completely fanless cooling system, the ES206GP operates silently, making it ideal for offices, meeting rooms, reception areas and other noise-sensitive environments. Its compact desktop and wall-mountable design allows it to be installed neatly in a variety of locations without occupying unnecessary space, while the robust construction ensures dependable long-term operation.
As part of the TP-Link Omada Agile Series, the ES206GP can be managed locally through an intuitive web interface or centrally through the Omada cloud platform using compatible controllers. This enables administrators to remotely configure devices, monitor network performance and maintain multiple sites from a single interface, providing a straightforward and cost-effective networking solution that grows alongside the needs of modern businesses.
