The EAP787 is a high-performance BE12000 tri-band Wi-Fi 7 ceiling-mounted access point designed to deliver exceptional wireless connectivity for demanding business environments. Built for organisations that require fast, reliable, and scalable networking, it combines the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology with advanced enterprise features to support high-density deployments such as offices, educational institutions, hotels, healthcare facilities and retail spaces.
With combined wireless speeds of up to 12.2 Gbps across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands, the EAP787 provides outstanding performance for bandwidth-intensive applications including cloud computing, 4K and 8K video streaming, video conferencing and large file transfers. Advanced Wi-Fi 7 technologies such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 320 MHz channel bandwidth and 4K-QAM help reduce latency, increase network efficiency and maximise throughput, ensuring users enjoy a consistently smooth wireless experience even during peak usage.
Designed for modern business networks, the EAP787 features a multi-gigabit 10GbE Ethernet port with support for 10G, 5G, 2.5G and 1G connectivity, allowing it to take full advantage of high-speed wired infrastructure while providing the bandwidth required by next-generation wireless devices. Support for both 802.3bt/at Power over Ethernet and DC power offers greater flexibility during installation, making deployment straightforward in a wide range of environments.
The access point incorporates dedicated RF scanning technology that continuously monitors the wireless spectrum, helping identify sources of interference and optimise channel selection without interrupting client connectivity. This intelligent approach enhances network stability and helps maintain reliable wireless performance in busy environments where multiple wireless networks operate simultaneously.
Capable of supporting more than 500 connected devices while covering areas of up to approximately 190 square metres, the EAP787 is well suited to high-density wireless deployments. Intelligent load balancing, beamforming, OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies work together to distribute traffic efficiently, ensuring every connected device receives fast and responsive wireless access.
As part of the Omada Software Defined Networking platform, the EAP787 integrates seamlessly with Omada controllers for centralised cloud management, enabling administrators to configure, monitor and manage multiple access points from a single interface. Features including seamless roaming, mesh networking, multiple SSIDs, captive portal support and comprehensive WPA3 security provide businesses with a flexible, secure and easily expandable wireless solution that can grow alongside their networking requirements.
*Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. The 320 MHz bandwidth is only available on the 6 GHz band. Simultaneously, the 320 MHz bandwidth on the 6 GHz band and 160 MHz bandwidth on the 5 GHz band may be unavailable in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions. Actual wireless data throughput and coverage are not guaranteed and will vary.
