The TP-SW5G-D-BT from Tycon Systems is a high speed, high power layer 2 network switch with one 802.3bt PoE input and 4 802.3af/at/bt PoE outputs, all of which feature 15kV surge protection and are conformal coated for moisture protection, that offer up to 90W of power per port by utilising 2 or 4 pair powering.
TP-SW5G-D-BT's port 5 (uplink) can accept up to 70W PoE in from an 802.3bt source on 4 pairs which can then power both the switch and any connected devices over CAT5 or higher Ethernet cable, with a Wire Terminal Connector (10A approx 500W max) offering an alternative power method. When two different inputs are in use for redundancy, the higher voltage that takes priority.
