The DS-P7501-08 is a compact, high performance Optical Line Terminal (OLT) designed for ISPs and enterprise networks. It supports both XGS-PON (10 Gbps) and GPON (2.5 Gbps) technologies, making it ideal for delivering fast and reliable fiber internet to homes, buildings, and campuses.
This OLT includes 8 PON ports that work with both GPON and XGS-PON, supporting up to 256 users per port. It features high speed uplinks with two 100G and two 25G ports, ensuring smooth data transmission to core networks. Its compact 1U rack mountable design makes it easy to install in standard server environments. For reliability, the DS-P7501-08 comes with dual hot-swappable AC or DC power modules, allowing continuous operation even during maintenance or failure. It also supports transmission distances of up to 20 kilometers, perfect for wide area deployments.
Network management is made simple through centralised control via Omada SDN or the DeltaStream PON Management System. Users can configure and monitor the device through a web interface, CLI, or SNMP, and benefit from features like batch ONU provisioning and real-time network monitoring.
Advanced security and network features are also built in. The OLT supports VLANs, DHCP functions, IP filtering, and traffic control. It includes protection mechanisms like rogue ONU detection and isolation, while quality of service (QoS) features ensure smooth delivery of voice, video, and data services.
