Discover the Omada EAP650-D120 Outdoor, an AX3000 WiFi 6 access point engineered to deliver blazing fast wireless connectivity in the most demanding environments. Capable of reaching speeds up to 2402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Encased in a fully sealed IP68-rated enclosure, it endures dust, moisture, and even temporary submersion, thriving in harsh conditions and extreme temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +70 °C.
The EAP650-D120 sets itself apart with built in high gain directional antennas -two for each band -that concentrate the signal into a focused 120° horizontal and 30° vertical beam. It achieves remarkable range, reaching up to 240m on 2.4 GHz and an impressive 500m on 5 GHz in unobstructed outdoor settings. Its ability to support seamless roaming using the 802.11k/v/r protocol ensures uninterrupted connectivity for moving clients like handheld scanners or AGVs in warehouses and outdoor scenarios.
Designed for flexible deployments, the EAP650-D120 can be powered either by 802.3at PoE+ or via 48V Passive PoE, minimising cable clutter while offering versatile installation choices. It integrates seamlessly with the Omada SDN platform, enabling centralised cloud or on-premises management through the Omada app or web interface. Omada Mesh capability further simplifies deployment by extending coverage wirelessly to hard to reach areas.
Every detail of the EAP650-D120 emphasises durability and precision: its IP68 enclosure shields it from the elements, its directional antenna array delivers ultra-long-range signal without compromising accuracy, and its omnipresent compatibility with Omada’s SDN ecosystem ensures that managing complex network environments remains smooth and intuitive.

† Maximum wireless transmission rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Range, coverage, and maximum quantity of connected devices are based on test results under normal usage conditions. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and quantity of connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of 1) environmental factors, including building materials, physical objects, and obstacles, 2) network conditions, including local interference, volume and density of traffic, product location, network complexity, and network overhead, and 3) client limitations, including rated performance, location, connection quality, and client condition.
§Omada Mesh, Seamless Roaming, Cloud Access, and Captive Portal require the use of an Omada controller.
*Coverage is calculated based on laboratory testing. Actual coverage is not guaranteed and will vary as a result of client limitations and environmental factors.
**The actual capacity depends on the wireless environment and client traffic and is generally less than the maximum number of client connections.
