If you have purchased a product and require a little bit of assistance that would go above the basic post sales support that we provide, then the 30 minute remote support will give you a chance to explain your problem to us before one of our technical team can arrange a remote session with you in the aim to fix the issues you are seeing.

If this is something you require, please follow the below steps:

Purchased from LinITX:

  1. Send an email to shop@linitx.com providing the serial number/MAC address of the unit in question and a detailed explanation of the issue you have. Any information about troubleshooting steps you have taken to this point (and their effect) would also be helpful to get this started.

  2. We will then reply to this email with some further troubleshooting steps to try and fix the issue where possible as part of our post sale support we offer on all products.

  3. If initial support would benefit from one of our team having a quick (< 15 minute) look on the device, we may request remote access at a time convenient to you so that we can see the current config rather than go back and forth over a support ticket.

  4. If the issue is not resolved after steps 2 and 3 and we feel like a 30 minute remote session would be enough to resolve your issue, we can then organise a time with you and, once agreed, proceed with the order for support and organise payment.


Not Purchased from LinITX: 

  1. We would encourage you to reach out to your supplier in the first instance for basic troubleshooting steps.

  2. If your supplier cannot assist then we would ask you to send us a detailed explanation of the issue you have along with any troubleshooting steps taken to this point and their effect so that we can get an idea of how long this may take to resolve.

  3. If we feel that like a 30 minute remote session would be enough to resolve your issue, we can then organise a time with you and, once agreed, proceed with the order for support and organise payment.


Please note:

- If you place an order online for the remote support before the initial email has been sent in, we will request that this is sent in and then follow the same process before booking a slot or taking payment.

- For more in depth support or tasks that are going to take over 30 minutes, we would instead point you in the direction of our consultancy which can be booked in 1hr slots.
