With a rugged IP67-rated enclosure, it’s engineered to withstand harsh environments while seamlessly converting high-speed fiber connections to copper Ethernet.

What truly sets it apart is the integrated battery system tucked inside its tough casing - a pair of Li-Ion NCA 18650 batteries that kick in when mains power falters, keeping your link alive through short outages, brownouts, and voltage dips to prevent unnecessary link renegotiation and costly device reboots.

Running a full version of SwOS Lite, the FTC21-UPS goes beyond simple media conversion by offering advanced management features such as interface monitoring, VLAN support, SNMP reporting, basic traffic shaping, and granular packet filtering with access control lists, giving administrators more control right at the network edge.

Connectivity includes a 2.5Gb SFP port alongside two Gigabit Ethernet ports, with one capable of providing passive PoE-out to power cameras or access points directly from the unit, while flexible dual DC inputs simplify installation on poles, cabinets, or remote sites.
