The UNVR Instant Kit is an all-inclusive surveillance solution designed to bring together recording, power, and cameras into a single, seamless package. It combines the compact efficiency of the UNVR Instant with a set of high-performance cameras -so you get an out-of-box video surveillance system without the complexity of sourcing components individually.

Inside the kit, the UNVR-Instant unit manages all recording, storage, and camera streams, while the included cameras connect directly to it using PoE. The unit supports multiple HD and 4K streams, and with six integrated PoE ports and a 40W PoE power budget, it can supply power and data to the cameras simultaneously. The NVR offers local storage via a single 3.5″ hard drive bay (1TB drive included) and incorporates an HDMI ViewPort output for on-site monitoring without needing an external PC.

Powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor and paired with 4 GB of memory, the system ensures responsive performance even under multi-camera load. The device supports up to six 4K or eight 2K cameras (or up to fifteen 1080p cameras), giving flexibility depending on your surveillance needs. The six RJ-45 PoE ports provide up to 40 W total, enough to power multiple cameras through a single box.

Integration with the UniFi Protect ecosystem is native: once you mount your cameras, insert a compatible drive, and adopt the cameras into your site via the UniFi Protect application. There are no extra licensing fees, and the package delivers a clean, cable-minimised installation thanks to centralised PoE and video management.
