LigoWave 5GHz Cost-Effective Base Station with an Integrated High-Gain 90 Degree Sector Antenna, 802.11n, for Short-to-Mid range Point to Multi-point scenarios - DLB 5-90n.


The LigoWave DLB 5-90n delivers high performance, stability and ROI for a device in the 5 GHz Base Station class. This device, with a highly advanced radio core design containing MIMO 2x2 technology and coupled with an integrated, high-gain, dual polarisation directional antenna, make a capable and compact device. The feature-rich OS is optimised for high performance wireless communications whilst allowing compatibility with older 802.11 standard devices.

Dynamic polling based protocol is used (iPoll 3) to ensure reliable communication even in congested areas with up to 64 client devices connected to a single base-station.

The enclosure of the DLB 5-20 is made of polycarbonate plastic with UV inhibitors to provide years of outdoor exposure in direct sunlight without degrading or cracking. It's designed and heavily tested to meet an IP-66 rating as well as vibration, temperature, drop, salt, fog, and electrical surge standards to ensure high reliability. Equipped with a grounding lug and a grounded 24-volt PoE allows for a professional installation, resistant to electrical surges.
