UniFi Network Professional (UNP) Training Course

Welcome to the Ubiquiti UniFi UNP Training Course offered by LinITX! This is a one day hands-on classroom course that trains on the powerful Cloud Gateway devices to show how UniFi simplifies network & IT management through Site Manager, "Full-Stack" applications, and more.

• Site Magic SD-WAN & Remote VPNs

The Trainer

The UFSP training course is being delivered by Jono Thompson. Jono has 21 years of experience working on routing, switching and wireless in enterprise networks.

Intended Target Audience:

This course is aimed at Support technicians, system integrators, installers and other technical professionals/users who already use or would like to start using Ubiquiti UniFi products for delivering wireless based network connectivity. Particularly the UniFi Network Range of Access Points, switches and accessories.

Student Prerequisites:

• An understanding of TCP/IP and the difference between a Layer2 and a Layer3 network
• A working laptop with WiFi and Ethernet ports and the ability to gain Administrative access rights to the operating system.
• A mobile device running Android or iOS
• Previous experience of the UniFi Network Application is beneficial
• If the student is wishing to take the UNP examination, then Photo ID will be required to prove their identity before taking the exam. Acceptable types of ID are equal to that required for City and Guilds exams.

Timetable

1st Day: 09:00 - 12:00
15 minute Break: 10:30 

At the end of the day there is an optional exam which runs for 1 hour
