UniFi Routing, Switching And Cybersecurity Admin (URSCA) Training Course
The Course:
Welcome to the Ubiquiti UniFi URSCA Training Course offered by LinITX! This comprehensive three-day program is designed to equip you with essential skills for designing, building, and managing enterprise networks. You will gain hands-on experience with UniFi’s powerful Cloud Gateway and other hardware through interactive lab activities. Key topics covered include network theory, network design, switching, routing, services, and cybersecurity. By the end of the course, you'll be proficient in creating secure, efficient, and scalable network solutions, ready to tackle real-world challenges in IT networking. On successful completion of the course each student receives a free official "Ubiquiti" T Shirt and after achieving a pass in the examination (pass mark is 65%), the student will also receive a certificate.
UniFi Full Stack Professional (UFSP) content is covered during this course and an optional exam can be taken for those interested in obtaining this additional certification.

Intended Target Audience:
This course is aimed at Support technicians, system integrators, installers and other technical professionals/users who already use or would like to start using the firewalling, routing, switching and security features in UniFi Cloud Gateways and UniFi Switches
Student Prerequisites:
- An understanding of TCP/IP and the difference between a Layer2 and a Layer3 network
- An understanding of IPv4 Subnetting
- An understanding of the OSI Model
- A working laptop with WiFi and Ethernet ports and the ability to gain Administrative access rights to the operating system.
- A mobile device running Android or iOS
- If the student is wishing to take the URSCA examination, then *Photo ID will be required to prove their identity before taking the exam.
- Previous experience of the UniFi Network Application is beneficial
*Acceptable types of ID are equal to that required for City and Guilds exams.
Timetable:
1st Day: 09:00 - 17:00
2nd Day: 09:00 - 17:00
Last Day: 09:00 - 16:00
15 minute Breaks: 10:30 and 15:00
30 min Lunch: 12:30
Optional URSCA exam at the end of last day which runs for 1 hour
Optional UFSP exam which runs for 40 mins
