The Mikrotik netFiber 9 Fiber Switch CRS310-1G-5S-4S+OUT is a powerful outdoor fiber switch and the spiritual successor to the popular FiberBox. The netFiber 9 is designed for use within an optical network and is even capable of performing some light routing tasks. It comes equipped with a powerful ARM v7 CPU, 256 MB of RAM, 4x 10G SFP+ ports, and an advanced Marvell switch-chip which allows it to handle heavy loads without issue. The 1G ethernet management port has a direct connection to the switch chip, allowing it to provide full gigabit speed to connected devices. PoE-In is also supported on the management port so you do not have to rely solely on the DC jack to power the netFiber 9.
The netFiber 9 is enclosed within a sturdy case which provides protection against dust ingress and splashes of water, making it perfect for outdoor use in a sheltered location. The addition of a sizeable heatsink on the rear of the case allows for outstanding heat dissipation, and also shifts the centre of mass closer to the mounting points for a more secure installation. A jubilee clip and screw set are included with the netFiber 9 so it can be mounted to a pole or wall straight out of the box.
