The MikroTik SXTsq Embedded LTE4 Global is a rugged outdoor LTE router designed to provide reliable internet connectivity in locations where traditional broadband services are unavailable or difficult to deploy. Combining a high-gain directional antenna, LTE Category 4 mobile networking, and MikroTik's powerful RouterOS platform, it offers an affordable solution for remote connectivity across a wide range of international deployments.
Built around the Quectel EG25-G modem, the Global version supports an extensive range of LTE frequency bands, making it particularly well suited for installations across North America, Europe, Asia, and other international regions. Whether used for rural homes, holiday properties, construction sites, agricultural operations, CCTV installations, or backup internet services, the device delivers dependable connectivity wherever mobile network coverage is available.
The integrated 9 dBi directional antenna with 2x2 MIMO technology helps improve signal quality by focusing reception towards the nearest mobile base station. By mounting the unit outdoors and positioning it correctly, users can often achieve significantly better performance than with standard indoor LTE routers, particularly in areas with weaker mobile coverage.
Powered by RouterOS v7, the SXTsq Embedded LTE4 Global offers a comprehensive range of advanced networking features, including firewall protection, VPN services, bandwidth management, routing protocols, traffic monitoring, remote administration, and network automation. This makes it equally suitable for simple internet access deployments and more complex professional networking environments.
For added flexibility, the device supports both a traditional Nano SIM card and integrated eSIM technology, allowing remote activation of mobile services without requiring physical access to the installation. This capability is particularly valuable for distributed networks, remote infrastructure projects, and managed service deployments.
