- Seamless roaming and omada mesh
The EAP615GP-Wall is an AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 wall plate GPON access point that combines high-speed wireless networking, fibre connectivity and wired device access into a single, space saving solution. Designed specifically for environments such as hotels, student accommodation, apartments, offices and healthcare facilities, it delivers fast, reliable wireless coverage directly to individual rooms while simplifying network deployment and reducing infrastructure requirements.
Featuring dual-band Wi-Fi 6 technology, the EAP615GP-Wall provides combined wireless speeds of up to 1.8 Gbps, enabling smooth video streaming, cloud-based applications, VoIP services and high-speed internet access for multiple users at the same time. Advanced wireless technologies including OFDMA, MU-MIMO and BSS Colouring improve network efficiency by reducing congestion and lowering latency, ensuring a responsive and stable connection even in busy environments with numerous connected devices.
Unlike traditional wall-mounted access points, the EAP615GP-Wall features an integrated GPON optical interface, allowing it to connect directly to a passive optical network without requiring a separate optical network terminal. This streamlined design reduces installation complexity while delivering high-speed fibre connectivity directly to the access point, making it an ideal choice for modern fibre-to-the-room deployments.
In addition to fast wireless networking, the unit includes multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports for connecting wired devices such as desktop computers, IP phones, smart televisions or network printers. One of the downlink ports supports PoE pass-through, enabling compatible devices to receive power through the same Ethernet cable, helping to minimise cabling and maintain a clean, professional installation.
The compact wall plate design fits neatly into standard wall back boxes, providing discreet wireless coverage without occupying valuable desk or ceiling space. This makes the EAP615GP-Wall particularly well suited to guest rooms and individual offices where aesthetics are just as important as network performance.
As part of the TP-Link Omada Software Defined Networking platform, the EAP615GP-Wall can be centrally managed alongside other Omada devices through cloud-based or on-premises controllers. Administrators can remotely configure wireless settings, monitor network health, manage connected clients and deploy firmware updates from a single interface. Support for seamless roaming, secure guest networking, VLANs and WPA3 encryption ensures users enjoy a secure and uninterrupted wireless experience while giving IT teams the flexibility to build and manage scalable enterprise-grade networks.

†Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual wireless data throughput and wireless coverage are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of 1) environmental factors, including building materials, physical objects, and obstacles, 2) network conditions, including local interference, volume and density of traffic, product location, network complexity, and network overhead, and 3) client limitations, including rated performance, location, connection, quality, and client condition.
‡Use of WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and its features like MU-MIMO, requires clients to support the corresponding features.
§Seamless Roaming, and Captive Portal require the use of Omada SDN controllers.
△This feature needs to be used with the switch that supports VPN Server. And at the same time, the Omada controller needs to be used with the switch that supports the Cli Template.
*The actual capacity depends on the wireless environment and client traffic and is generally less than the maximum number of client connections.
**Coverage value is calculated based on laboratory testing. Actual coverage is not guaranteed and will vary as a result of client limitations and environmental factors.
