The TP-Link Omada EAP723 (EU) V2 is a compact BE3600 dual-band Wi-Fi 7 ceiling-mounted access point that brings next-generation wireless performance to businesses seeking a fast, scalable and cost-effective networking solution. Designed for offices, retail environments, schools, hospitality venues and other high-density indoor spaces, it delivers reliable connectivity with the latest Wi-Fi technology while integrating seamlessly into the Omada Software Defined Networking platform.
Delivering combined wireless speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, the EAP723 provides the performance required for bandwidth-intensive applications such as cloud computing, video conferencing, media streaming and large file transfers. Wi-Fi 7 technologies including Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4K-QAM, 160 MHz channel support and Multi-RU enhance throughput, improve spectrum efficiency and reduce latency, helping connected devices maintain fast and responsive wireless connections even during periods of heavy network demand.
Equipped with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and support for 802.3at Power over Ethernet, the EAP723 enables businesses to take advantage of multi-gigabit wired infrastructure while simplifying installation with a single cable for both power and data. An optional DC power input provides additional deployment flexibility, making it suitable for a wide range of installation environments.
Designed to support more than 250 concurrent client devices and provide wireless coverage of up to approximately 140 square metres, the EAP723 is well suited to busy workplaces where reliable connectivity is essential. Intelligent features such as OFDMA, beamforming, load balancing, band steering and airtime fairness work together to optimise wireless performance, ensuring users experience stable and efficient network access throughout the coverage area.
Its low-profile ceiling-mounted design blends discreetly into professional environments while offering flexible installation on ceilings, walls or junction boxes using the included mounting accessories. The compact enclosure makes it an excellent choice for businesses that require enterprise-grade wireless networking without compromising the appearance of their premises.
As part of the TP-Link Omada ecosystem, the EAP723 can be centrally managed through cloud-based, software or hardware Omada controllers, allowing administrators to configure, monitor and maintain multiple access points from a single interface. Support for seamless roaming, Omada Mesh, multiple SSIDs, captive portal authentication and WPA3 security provides a secure, scalable and easy-to-manage wireless solution that can grow alongside the needs of any modern business.
*Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. The 160 MHz bandwidth is only available on the 5GHz band. It may be unavailable in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of internet service provider factors, network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and client location.

†Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications.
‡Use of Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and features including 160 MHz Bandwidth, MLO, 4K-QAM, Multi-RUs, and OFDMA requires clients to also support the corresponding features.
**The actual capacity depends on the wireless environment and client traffic and is generally less than the maximum number of client connections.
***Coverage value is calculated based on laboratory testing. Actual coverage is not guaranteed and will vary as a result of client limitations and environmental factors.
△Omada Mesh, Seamless Roaming, Captive Portal, and Cloud Access require the use of an Omada SDN controller. Please refer to the User Guides of Omada SDN controllers for configuration methods.
