The EAP225-Outdoor from TP-Link is an Omada managed, Wave 2 access point with mesh support and a specially designed IP65 rated weatherproof enclosure which can be installed perfectly into a number of indoor and outdoor scenarios thanks to a number of design features including:
Detachable Antennas - EAP225-Outdoor comes with 2 Omni-Directional antennas as standard which can be removed and swapped for different antenna options to meet specific demands.
Multiple PoE Options - EAP225-Outdoor supports both 24V Passive PoE and 802.3af PoE power options which can be provided by a PoE network switch or the included PoE adapter.
Flexible Mounting - EAP225-Outdoor can be easily mounted to a pole or flat surface when using the Wall Mounting kit provided.
Intelligent Self-Organisation allows Omada EAPs with mesh technology to automatically chose the best route for extending the wireless network further and Self Healing allows the system to re-route data automatically to other devices in range should one link have an issue.
