The TP-Link Omada EAP265 HD Access Point is an AC1750 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Ceiling Mount device designed to provide fast and efficient WiFi coverage. It offers dual-band Wi-Fi with speeds up to 450 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, totaling 1750 Mbps. The access point is equipped with features suitable for high-density connectivity, such as MU-MIMO and professional antennas, improving its capacity to connect multiple devices simultaneously.
The Omada EAP265 HD is integrated into the Omada SDN (Software-Defined Networking) platform, supporting Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), centralised cloud management, and intelligent monitoring. It also offers seamless roaming capabilities, ensuring uninterrupted video streams and voice calls as users move between locations.
The EAP265 HD supports both standard 802.3af/at PoE and Passive PoE (with a PoE adapter included), allowing for flexible installations. Additionally, it provides a secure guest network with multiple authentication options and a range of wireless security technologies.
EAP265 HD includes two Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) ports, with one port supporting IEEE802.3af/at PoE and Passive PoE. It has a physical security lock, a reset button, and a power consumption of 12.3W. The device is designed for easy ceiling or wall mounting with the included kits.
EAP265 HD supports multiple SSIDs, automatic channel assignment, MU-MIMO, band steering, load balance, and more. It offers robust wireless security features such as Captive Portal Authentication, Access Control, SSID to VLAN Mapping, and support for various WPA protocols.
