The TP-SW8GAT/24-SFP Power over Ethernet (PoE) 10 port Gigabit switch offered by Tycon is a high speed Layer 2+ manageable switch with configurable PoE ports to provide 802.3AT or Passive 24V PoE. Enabling different protocol devices to be powered from the same PoE Switch.
The TP-SW8GAT/24-SFP features two 1Gb SFP fiber ports that accept standard single mode or multimode fiber transceivers. PoE on all ports is manageable via the user interface. The maximum total power for all ports is combination is 240W.
The SW8GAT/24-SFP features security protocols such as SSH and SSL for secure access of the switch command interface. Serial console port grants access to the interface or any of the Ethernet ports. Control via web browser is available for the command interface, command line interface(CLI), TELNET, SSH or SNMP.
With L2+ features, the switches provide better manageability, security, QOS features and performance. Port Mirroring, VLAN, IGMP Snooping, Port Isolation, DHCP Snooping, LLDP, Storm Control, ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard, PoE management, Access Control Lists are just some of the features available with this Industrial PoE Switch. Jumbo Frames, Spanning Tree and Ring Topology are also supported.
The switches feature two separate power inputs for primary and backup power. They require a 37VDC to 57VDC input via the wire terminal connector which is capable of accepting up to 2mm (12AWG) wire.
The RJ45 connectors are shielded and grounded to the case, surge protection is present on all ports and they are conformal coated for moisture protection. A wide operating temperature range is also supported for outdoor and industrial applications.
