The Ubiquiti airMAX PowerBeam AC PtP Kit is the first stop for a great value high throughput link at short or long distance. This kit consists of a pair of PowerBeam AC's (PBE-5AC-500) which are capable of links up to and in some cases over 10km whilst still achieving over 100Mbps. The PowerBeam AC is also suited for short link from building to building with 300Mbps+ for links under 1km (power output will have to be turned right down).For a small charge we can also set up the PowerBeam link for you (option above) so all you have to do is plug and play (the link will be set to pass all traffic from your router meaning no extra configuration needed) or if you want to configure the link yourself then check out our HowTo for a helpful setup Guide. If you would like us to set up the link please select the product option above and make sure you let us know the distance of the link so we can set the power levels accordingly (adjustments may have to be make on site).
Please note the PowerBeams do not come with Ethernet cables as standard, you will require 2 per PowerBeam One to plug from the POE injector to your router/switch and the other to go from the POE Injector to the PowerBeam. The Ubiquiti airMAX PowerBeam AC PBE-5AC-500 is the latest addition to the PowerBeam Range, the new AC model supports the latest 802.11ac technology and combines it with Ubiquiti's highest gain PowerBeam dish supporting up to 27dBi gain. This new PowerBeam AC can support up to 450Mbps over a link thanks to the 802.11ac support, this makes it ideal for use in high throughput back haul links in WISP networks where an airFiber may not be appropriate. The PowerBeam AC is the only PowerBeam model to be provided with a Radome as standard, this protects the feedhorn and the dish from the elements.
Incorporating a dish reflector design with advanced technology, the PowerBeam is the latest generation of Ubiquiti Networks airMAX CPE for customer locations.
Integrated Radio Design Ubiquitis InnerFeed technology integrates the radio into the feed horn of an antenna, so there is no need for cables to connect the radio to the antenna. This improves performance because it eliminates cable losses.
Plug and Play Installation The PowerBeam requires no tools for assembly; only a single wrench is required for pole-mounting.
Incredible Antenna "Beam" Performance The form factor of the PowerBeam features the highest gain for its size. The PowerBeams excellent beam directivity provides the best performance in high-noise environments.
