The UniFi 5G Max is an indoor high-performance 5G cellular modem built to integrate seamlessly into any UniFi deployment, delivering up to 3.4 Gbps download speed and robust connectivity for homes or businesses seeking reliable backup or primary internet.

This modem offers flexible dual-SIM support featuring two nano-SIM slots plus eSIM capability, allowing you to combine a physical SIM and an eSIM or rely on one SIM as backup in Dual SIM Single Standby (DSSS) mode for automatic failover if the primary network drops.

It connects via a 2.5 GbE RJ45 port, pairing fast cellular throughput with wired reliability and can even be powered through PoE, eliminating the need for a nearby power outlet and enabling installation in locations where power access is limited.

Designed for easy set up, the 5G Max automatically adopts into your UniFi network once plugged into any UniFi PoE port, making setup straightforward and hassle free. Its compact and modern enclosure makes it an ideal choice to bring high-speed, fallback-ready connectivity to your existing network infrastructure whether you’re looking to add resilience to a primary broadband connection or use it as a standalone cellular gateway.
