The Ubiquiti AF5U Operates in the Upper (5725-6200Mhz) 5GHz band with high quality RF front-end filtering to prevent interference from other Mid-Band 5GHz radios.
Please note that this is for quantity 2 x AF5.
The airFiber AF-5U operates in the upper part of the worldwide 5 GHz frequencies and can go as high as *6200 MHz. (*For UK purchasers - check with Ofcom for more details).
airFiber AF-5U delivers gigabit performance at 1.0+ Gbps. airFiber 5 can transmit a 100 MB file in less than a second. Rivalling common broadband providers, airFiber 5 download speed is up to 100x faster.
airFiber AF-5U is built for long-range up to 100+ km, which launches the innovative xtreme Range Technology (xRT) feature. airFiber 5 backhauls do not share the security risks associated with wired backhauls.
There are two airFiber 5 models available for the 5 GHz spectrum:
The AF5 model features mid-band frequencies, whereas the AF5U operates in the high-band range (5.7-6.2 GHz).
We recommend cabling the AF5 using Ubiquiti's TOUGHCable Carrier with its extra shielding and grounding make it perfect for deployments up towers and in busy RF zones.
