Introducing the MikroTik Chateau LTE18 ax WiFi 6 access point router, featuring a wireless interface that supports the latest 802.11ax (WiFi 6) standard and is backwards compatible with all previous WiFi standards. Even if your current setup is mainly 802.11ac, users can still benefit from advanced features like MU-MIMO and explicit beamforming.
MikroTik Chateau LTE18 ax can deliver up to 40% higher speeds in the 5 GHz and up to 90% higher speeds in the 2.4 GHz spectrum, compared to previous generations of WiFi 5 (802.11ac) APs. The Chateau LTE18 ax supports MIMO 4x4 on LTE, with its 4 built-in LTE antennas and 2 optional external network antennas for exceptional coverage throughout your home.
MikroTik Chateau LTE18 ax features 4 x Gigabit Ethernet ports and an additional 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port to support maximum throughput. The Chateau LTE18 ac also has a USB 3.0 port, which can be used for additional storage purposes.
Featuring a quad-core CPU running at 1.8 GHz, combined with a solid 1GB of RAM, the Chateau LTE18 ax packs a heavy punch when it comes to high intensity operations like complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, using more threads or experimenting with advanced RouterOS features. WPA3 advanced encryption is also supported, offering you additional security and peace of mind.
The MikroTik Chateau LTE18 ax is also a great choice for mobile operators, as it can be customised with a variety of labels or printed branding. Mobile operators can use the TR-069 technology to create custom remote client management options, such as router configuration via the same web-page that clients are using to pay their bill.
Catering to both advanced and non-technical users, the Chateau LTE18 ax allows advanced users, seasoned sysadmins, and networking enthusiasts to take advantage of the astounding depth of RouterOS. Whereas users who are less technically-minded or don't need access to advanced features, can skip the RouterOS backed altogether and use the simple, straightforward web-page setup instead.
