The EAP725-Outdoor is a high-performance BE3600 dual-band Wi-Fi 7 access point designed to provide fast, reliable wireless connectivity in outdoor environments. Built to withstand challenging weather conditions while delivering next-generation wireless performance, it is an ideal solution for business parks, hospitality venues, schools, warehouses, outdoor dining areas, recreational facilities and other locations that require dependable outdoor Wi-Fi coverage.

Powered by the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology, the EAP725-Outdoor delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, providing the bandwidth needed for high-definition video streaming, cloud applications, VoIP communications and large file transfers. Advanced features such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO), OFDMA, 4K-QAM and beamforming improve network efficiency, reduce latency and help maintain fast, responsive connections even when multiple users and devices are connected simultaneously.

A standout feature of the EAP725-Outdoor is its innovative antenna system, which allows the access point to switch between directional and omnidirectional coverage modes. The intelligent auto-sensing design automatically detects when external antennas are connected and adjusts the wireless coverage pattern without requiring manual configuration, making it easy to optimise signal distribution for different deployment scenarios. Whether providing focused coverage across a specific outdoor area or broad wireless access over open spaces, the EAP725-Outdoor offers exceptional flexibility.

Designed for long-term outdoor installation, the access point features a rugged IP66-rated weatherproof enclosure that protects against rain, dust and harsh environmental conditions. Integrated 6 kV lightning protection and an operating temperature range suitable for extreme climates help ensure reliable performance throughout the year, while the included wall and pole mounting hardware enables straightforward installation in a wide variety of outdoor locations.

The EAP725-Outdoor is equipped with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port supporting 802.3at Power over Ethernet, allowing both power and data to be delivered over a single network cable. This simplifies installation, reduces cabling costs and enables flexible deployment where traditional power outlets may not be readily available. Bluetooth 5.2 support also assists with simplified setup and management through the Omada ecosystem.

As part of the TP-Link Omada Software Defined Networking platform, the EAP725-Outdoor integrates seamlessly with Omada controllers to provide centralised cloud management across multiple sites. Network administrators can remotely configure devices, monitor performance, deploy firmware updates and manage wireless policies from a single interface. Support for Omada Mesh, seamless roaming, multiple SSIDs and enterprise-grade WPA3 security ensures users enjoy secure, uninterrupted wireless connectivity while businesses benefit from a scalable and easy-to-manage outdoor networking solution.
