The AS-5-20 by RF elements is a 20dBi array sector antenna that has been optimised to provide excellent performance in sectorial coverage and dense cluster installations, with the patented BackShield frequency selective surfaces that have been integrated into the antenna body itself designed to attenuate side lobes on the azimuth plane and back radiation which significantly improves the co-location capability.
The AS-5-20 operates in extremely wide frequency band (5150-5851MHz covering U-NII-1 to U-NII-3 bands) and provides a balanced gain in both polarisations as well as boasting unmatched main lobe stability for increased coverage performance.
Stable gain across the band - Rf Elements array sector antennas maintain a stable gain across the ultra-wide frequency range (5150 - 5850 MHz), with great VSWR values across the entire useful spectrum for maximum power delivered to the antenna from the selected radio.
Optimised for co-location - The patented BackShield frequency selective surface is integrated onto the antennas structure of the AS-5-20 and effectively mitigates back radiation and sidelines on the azimuth plane to significantly improve co-location capability in dense cluster installations without the need to add aftermarket shields.
Wide platform compatibility - The AS-5-20 is compatible with all major radios featuring coaxial connectors (see specification for complete list) and feature a removable cover to protest the SMA connectors.
Durable Build - Built from high quality materials, such as the solid extruded aluminium body, allows for the RF elements Array Sector Antennas to endure harsh weather conditions. Stainless steel hardware also come with a black coloured anti-friction surface coating to prevent seizing.
