The Ubiquiti U-Cable-C6-CMP is Category 6 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cabling that supports speeds of up to 1Gbps. It uses 0.57mm solid copper conductor pairs and an anti-crosstalk divider, which improves pair isolation.
CMP (Communications Multipurpose cable, Plenum) cabling is designed for use in plenum areas where air is typically circulated in a building. Cables for these areas must adhere to strict manufacturing requirements, ensuring that they can safely be used in these spaces.
