The Ubiquiti UniFi UAP-AC-SHD-5 Access Point 5 Pack is designed to deliver robust and secure WiFi performance for businesses and institutions. This four-stream, 802.11ac Wave 2 access point features a dedicated network security radio, ensuring enhanced network protection.
Each UniFi UAP-AC-SHD in the 5-pack offers a coverage area of 140 m² (1,500 ft²) and supports over 1,000 connected devices, utilizing WiFi5 (4x4 MIMO) technology. These access points are powered using PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus), with a PoE power adapter (NOT included in 5-pack).
UniFi UAP-AC-SHD features two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and supports a voltage range of 44—57 VDC. The maximum power consumption is 20W, with maximum transmission power of 25 dBm for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
The UniFi UAP-AC-SHD offers advanced features like dual-band MIMO, high throughput rates (800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1733 Mbps on 5 GHz), and 6 dBi antenna gain for both frequency bands. It supports various WiFi standards, wireless security protocols, VLAN 802.1Q, and advanced Quality of Service (QoS) with per-user rate limiting.
The Ubiquiti UAP-AC-SHD-5 is a box of 5 x UAP-AC-SHD units and boasts the same impressive MU-MIMO performance and hardware as the UAP-AC-HD, as well as a new dedicated dual-band security radio that constantly monitors and protects against threats.
