The UniFi UPS 2U is a robust and scalable 2U rackmount line interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed for professional environments requiring reliable backup power. With a capacity of 1,440VA / 1,000W, it ensures critical devices remain operational during power interruptions. The unit features eight IEC (C13) power outlets, four providing battery backup and surge protection, and four offering surge protection only, allowing users to safeguard a variety of equipment.

Designed for rackmount installations, the UPS 2U occupies 2U of rack space and is constructed from durable galvanised steel, measuring 442.4 x 300 x 87.4 mm and weighing 14 kg. It is equipped with a field-replaceable 2 x 9AH batteries, providing approximately 8 minutes of runtime at half load (500W), ensuring devices have sufficient time to power down safely during an outage. The UPS 2U supports a recharge time of 6–8 hours to reach 90% capacity.

Integration with the UniFi ecosystem is seamless; the UPS 2U can be adopted into the UniFi Network application via Ethernet, enabling centralised monitoring, and management and alarm notifications. The UniFi UPS range includes shutdown support for the UniFi Storage Applications in both the UNAS and UNVR range.
