Built with a tough yet lightweight polycarbonate shell that measures just 76.5 × 76.5 × 26.4 mm and weighs 78 g, it's designed for flexible deployment, whether desktop or wall‑mounted. Power is delivered over 24 V passive PoE, drawing less than 5 W, making installations simpler and cleaner by eliminating the need for a separate plug in adapter. Status LEDs offer clear visual feedback on power, PON signal strength, and LAN traffic.

Management integrates seamlessly into the UISP ecosystem using OMCI, and the unit enables remote provisioning, firmware updates, automatic laser shutdown upon fiber loss for enhanced protection, NAT routing, firewall, VLAN, and GEM port encryption for added security.
